To say I’m obsessed with water is an understatement. I am almost always drinking it. I always have at least one container of it with me at all times. I post about it on my Facebook and Instagram stories at least once a day. I track my input ALL DAY LONG, EVERY DAY! But, why? Why is water so important?
Water is a vital component to the human body and should be ingested throughout the day. If you wait until you feel thirsty to drink, you are already on your way to becoming dehydrated. The goal of your daily water intake should be to drink at least half of your body weight in ounces each day. Will you be using the bathroom a lot? Yes! That’s the point. The benefits to taking in water all day long are amazing. Why not give yourself some self love and HYDRATE!
Benefits of drinking water…

Should you be tracking how much you are drinking to make sure that you get it all in? Yes! Does it matter how you’re tracking it? No! You can use a journal, a piece of paper, or hair ties that you move from one wrist to the other each time you drink a certain number of ounces. Your method for tracking your water intake is entirely up to you. The idea is to be conscious of how much you are drinking and to strive for the goal of at least half of your body weight in ounces per day.
